When tasked by parent company Clorox to envision new ways forward for this iconic brand, playworkgroup leveraged Glad’s strong associations with storage and disposal to propose a post-pandemic, tech-powered initiative. Emerging from a need to address the lack of convenient waste disposal services in many areas of the country, Gladly is a comprehensive interface that makes trash and recycling pickup on demand available through a trusted service provider, with incentives and improved sustainability versus municipal collection. 

The result | After building the Gladly concept on a foundation of in-depth quantitative and qualitative research to define service offerings, business model and branding, we helped launch the pilot partnership with recycling innovator Recyclops.
